Senior Travel Retail Manager - Sales and Operations

Our client is a leading international lifestyle brand and is widely acclaimed in different parts of the world with over 500 shops in Europe and Asia and is also available via over 10,000 specialty retailers.  They are now looking for Senior Travel Retail (TR) Manager – Sales & Operation to manage their team and develop the TR business in APAC.  It is an exciting opportunity for talents who want to advance their career within a premium lifestyle industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reported to the General Manager, APAC, this role is responsible for leading the travel retail sales and operation teams to ensure the deliverables in APAC
• By aligning with the company’s strategic and financial objectives, the position is to develop and implement APAC commercial strategies for driving revenue growth.
• Manage and follow-up the P&L and ensure appropriate measures are taken.
• Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities to identify new sales opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel retailers, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and Coach the team members of 3-4 and build a robust and dynamic team.
• Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure the process and procedures are effective and efficient.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Over 10 years of travel retail experience and at least 6 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of travel retail business and channels
• Experience in confectionary or F&B industry is a plus.
• Can-do attitude with hands on approach, able to manage dynamic changes and take up challenges.
• Self Motivated, Sales-driven and result-oriented,
• Excellent negotiation skill and effective communication skill.
• Great verbal and written in Mandarin and English.
• Open to travel on a regular basis.
