Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage booking and scheduling of global shipments with freight forwarders.
  • Communicate effectively with corrresponding parties regarding shipment details and requirements across different time zones.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
  • Check shipping costs to ensure budget compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory management.
  • Assist with general office tasks, including courier services, filing, data entry, and answering phones.
  • Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or office administration preferred.
  • Strong understanding of shipping processes and freight forwarding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
