Major Duties:
(a) To assist in the installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of sports science and therapy equipment such as metabolic cart, heart rate monitoring system, motion capture system, blood lactate, glucose, TMG/Myoton Pro, electromyography system, ultrasonography system, IFT, timing gate, flywheel, force plate and sports therapy related modalities etc;
(b) To assist in the day-to-day operation and management of the laboratory or centre;
(c) To provide technical support to staff in teaching and research related activities;
(d) To assist academic staff in preparation, demonstration of laboratory or practical classes and projects in daytime and/or evening;
(e) To assist academic staff in designing and developing training materials, and conducting practical training or workshop(s);
(f) To assist in the development and implementation of projects assigned;
(g) To coordinate the procurement of consumables and equipment;
(h) To assist in inventory estimate, control and storage; and
(i) To support/supervise and coordinate the internship activities on both weekdays and weekends.
Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree in Sports Therapy, or related disciplines;
(b) Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relevant equipment;
(c) Good negotiation, problem-solving, supervisory and interpersonal skills; and
(d) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at Chai Wan Campus.
