Technical Manager (Ref: ADC/TM)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, enhance and optimize the network infrastructure in Data Centre Projects;
• Advice to develop and implement IT disaster recovery strategy to protect IT infrastructure and minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a disaster;
• Assist the operation teams to perform periodic file maintenance and data backup for all system;
• As a lead to train operations team for the Facilities operations procedure to achieve target SLA
• Support the operations team to provide first-line support to end users, answer enquiries and resolving technical issues
• Implement and manage energy / cost-saving initiatives in the Data Center
• Attend meetings arranged by the government or stakeholders related to operation and maintenance

Requirements:

• Experienced in data centre facility, IT Infrastructure/ Operations and network fault recovery, etc will be an advantage
• A degree in Building Services or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or building related disciplines. Professional qualification of relevant disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is preferred (e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, RICS, HKIS, IFMA, IMechE & IEE)
• A minimum of ten years of facilities or property experience of which at least five years in managerial level and be conversant with building, building services, mechanical and electrical engineering technology.
• A holder of registered electrical worker (REW) A0 or above is preferrable.
• Outstanding technical skills and experience in leading/managing complex building operations, maintenance and assets upkeep.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Technical Manager
