Duties
The appointee will assist the Assistant Campus Services Manager in daily operations and management of the General Supporting Services (GSS) and Receiving and Despatching (R&D) Units. Main duties include to :
- Assign jobs and arrange manpower deployment for general moving work, office removals, venue set-up for events, and mailing services to cater to users’ requests and operational needs;
- Supervise subordinates and contractors to ensure that their services provided comply with users’ requests and contract requirements;
- Coordinate with users, contractors and related parties to provide the required services;
- Prepare work plans and submit reports on daily operations;
- Execute work procedures and instructions given by supervisors;
- Assist in procurement and drafting of tender documents and contract requirements;
- Assist in the annual budget estimate and record expenditure;
- Maintain good custody of inventories and records;
- Handle car bookings and supervise drivers for the provision of transport services when necessary; and
- Perform overtime work when necessary and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree/Higher Certificate/Diploma in Facilities Management or related disciplines;
- At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in site coordination;
- Good experience in supervising frontline staff and contractors in the field of logistics services;
- A strong sense of responsibility and teamwork; and
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Candidates with a driving licence and experience in moving and related services are preferred.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
