Testing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of testing of a project, including but not limited to functional test, integration test, user acceptance test, performance test, etc.
2. Develop test plans (strategy), perform results analysis, compile test reports and present to customer.
3. Work with project managers, multiple development teams, including internal, subcontractors, offshore centers for remediation.
4. Manage a small team of junior testers.
5. Liaison for customer (users and IT) for testing and software quality
6. Report directly to the Senior Project Manager, representing the software quality stream of the project.

Job Requirements:

1. 8+ years solid experience in software development and testing
2. Minimum 6 years focused in QA and software testing in functional test, non-functional test, regression test, test automation, with solid experience in large scale business systems such as ERP, web applications, and mission critical systems
3. Successfully led testing project through entire test life cycle from test planning to acceptance
4. Knowledgeable about test automation, non-functional testing such as performance test, security requirements.
5. 2 years in managerial / leader role of the test process, and team management
6. Experience working with offshore teams in China
7. Experience in a business analyst role an added advantage
8. Good communication skills in both technical and business context, able to deal with management as well as software engineers, business analysts
9. Proficient in English, Cantonese and Putonghua, and good written English and Chinese
10. Team player, self-initiative and able to work independently
