Youth Worker (School Liaison Worker) (Membership and Volunteer Unit)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Federation is looking for several suitable candidates to join our coordination team in launching a citywide programme to promote volunteerism among students in the next few years. The selected candidates are required to:

• Foster a culture of volunteerism and develop habit of volunteering among students from schools to communities with well-structured experiential learning journey
• Sustain the engagement with primary and secondary schools and NGOs in an assigned district(s)
• Offer massive volunteer programmes to students
• Assist annual events such as award ceremonies and competitions
• Assist any administrative tasks such as admin logistics and reporting requested by supervisors

Entry Requirements:
Study Fields：

• Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree
• Social Sciences/ Counselling/ Education or any related discipline

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 2 years of relevant experience in related sectors is preferred
• Experience in training, programme planning, leading and debriefing
• Excellent command of writing, verbal and presentation skills in Chinese and English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong drive for success
• Knowledge about IT solutions or graphic design skills is advantageous
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Some concrete volunteering experience would be an advantage

• Proactive and able to work independently under pressure, with strong sense of responsibilities
• Team player
• Good at multi-tasking

Additional Requirements:

• Flexible work schedule and location would be expected
