Facilities Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

At 1880 HK, our Facilities Manager will provide repairment support and best solutions and advise regarding repair, replacement works in the 1880 facility. Operate and manage fire systems & associated pumps, sprinkler systems and other equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but aren’t limited to:

• Work closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the club and the satisfaction of members and guests
• Ensure full compliance in all engineering departmental standard, policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
• Knowledge of general repair and maintenance work, such as FCU repair and replacement works, ventilation system normalization, patching drywall, fixing faulty wiring, and unclogging drains, etc
• Plan and execute effective preventative maintenance programs & cleaning schedules
• Propose purchasing new equipment, supplies, and furnishings and fittings
• Estimate the contracted works at a reasonable / market price and supervise construction to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary guidelines
• Attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required
• Ensure that the 1880 SOCIAL level of excellence is upheld in every part of dining service
• Understand and adhere to Rules and Regulations established in the Staff Guidebook and the club’s policies concerning fire, hygiene. and health and safety

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable team player with the eagerness to learn and grow
• Self-motivated, hard-working, and takes the initiative
• Wide-ranging experience and the ability to deal with challenges in a calm manner
• Knowledge of general repair and maintenance work, such as FCU repair and replacement works, ventilation system normalization, patching drywall, fixing faulty wiring, and unclogging drains, etc
• Good understanding of managing fire systems & associated pumps, sprinkler systems and equipment, with knowledge of fire, electrical codes and occupational safety codes.
• Degree or higher diploma in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical related disciplines preferred
• Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Hold a valid Registered Electrical Worker license (Grade A or above)
