Merchandiser - Kitchenware Division

BASL Limitedis the buying office of Bradshaw Home Inc., which is the major importer in USA, owning various brands like “goodcook”, “Casabella” & “evercare”. We mainly focus on Kitchenware, Bakeware, Cookware and Cleaning products, with offices in USA, Canada, Hong Kong and China; we are now inviting high caliber candidates of to join our Hong Kong Office:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage numerous new product development & oversee various projects
• Be the intermediary among Headquarters, customer and vendor
• Proactively source and propose relevant new products or cost saving supplier
• Receive & Issue PO, follow through from A to Z
• Negotiate product cost and be the ‘business owner’ of the category
• Tackle PO shipping delay due to supplier production delay
• Handle samples in and out
• Discuss technical drawing & artwork with factory, internal parties and provide recommendation
• Prepare necessary reports and presentation

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above from Engineer / Business Administration, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ Merchandising experience in any Kitchenware / Bakeware / Cookware products industry (e.g. Tools & Gadgets, Bakeware, Pots & Pans etc.);
• Fair knowledge of different production processes, and able to handle RFQ independently
• Well-organized, detailed-minded, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility
• Proactive, quick response and eager to learn
• Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Good command of both written and oral English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• Willing to travel China / Overseas occasionally
• Solid experience and knowledge of different USA retailers’ systems would definitely be a PLUS
