Production Designer

About the role

We are seeking a  Production Designer to join our team at BOB (HK) LTD' in our Tsuen Wan office. As a Production Designer, you will play a crucial role in the creation and delivery of innovative construction projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and execute construction ( Fitting Out, GRC GRP props, steel structure) designs that meet project requirements and adhere to industry standards
• Create detailed construction plans, drawings, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Manage the production and fabrication of construction materials and components
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and the successful completion of projects
• Monitor and oversee the installation and assembly of construction elements on-site
• Identify and resolve design-related issues to maintain project quality and efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation and records throughout the construction process

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production design role within the Interior Fitting Out/ Event Exhibition industry
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, AI
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve design-related issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of construction materials, building codes, and industry regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
