Head of Exchange

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Exchange to spearhead the strategic development, design, and performance of our next-generation virtual asset trading platform. Responsibilities:

• Strategic Product Leadership.Work closely with Senior Management to define and implement a visionary product roadmap that aligns with our long-term business strategy and growth ambitions.

• Product Design & Development.Design, develop, and refine a full suite of trading products—Spot, Margin, Derivatives, Staking and OTC—ensuring compliance with industry best practices while meeting evolving user needs.

• User Experience & Onboarding.Champion user-centric design to streamline onboarding, enhance user experience, and build a secure, intuitive, and efficient trading environment.

• Execution & Delivery.Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to oversee timely product rollouts and maintain high implementation standards.

• Platform Performance & Monitoring.Establish and oversee key performance metrics to continuously monitor trading platform stability, scalability, and latency. Proactively identify areas for improvement to ensure optimal system performance under all market conditions.

• Market Insights & Product Innovation.Stay ahead of crypto market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes. Translate insights into actionable product enhancements and innovation opportunities.

• Branding & Marketing Alignment.Partner with the marketing team to craft compelling product narratives and campaigns. Ensure consistent messaging and branding that align with overall business goals and user expectations.

• Continuous Optimization & Feedback Loop.Regularly evaluate product adoption and customer feedback. Use data-driven insights to refine product features, enhance usability, and support marketing strategy adjustments.

• Cross-Functional Leadership.Coordinate with internal stakeholders across business development, operations, compliance, and tech teams to align objectives and deliver strong commercial outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, or a related discipline is preferred, ideally with extended overseas education or professional experience.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in business development, investment management, industry research, or related fields. Hands-on experience in building businesses from the ground up (0 to 1) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of traditional finance, including market structure and mechanism design in bonds and equities.
• Experience or familiarity with emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, new energy, industrial internet, or real-world assets (RWA) is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build and expand strategic partnerships with financial institutions and enterprises.
• Strong market awareness, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and effectively manage complex projects.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, innovative and a good team player.
