Marketing Support Officer
It is a position to support the Direct Dialogue Manager in recruiting monthly givers through identifying and booking suitable venues, applying for related licenses, liaising with the venue providers for the venue set up as well as working with the production houses for the production of marketing materials. This role also provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the fundraising teams, including preparing various venue analysis reports and handling all documentary works for external and internal parties.
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify suitable venues to facilitate monthly givers' recruitment
- Work with the venue providers for venue booking and co-ordinate related logistic arrangements
- Collaborate with the production house to design and produce attractive promotional materials
- Apply licenses for conducting direct dialogue recruitment activities in different venues, including but not limited to a Public Subscription Permit of SWD
- Prepare reports on venue recruitment performance for management review
- Support the organisation’s large-scale events when necessary
- Solicit venue materials and maintain inventory records
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, including handling email and phone inquiries.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support for external and internal parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Degree holder in business administration, marketing, event planning and management, or other related disciplines.
- 2-3 years or more relevant work experience
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Applications, Chinese word processing, knowledge using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are preferable
- Familiarity with database systems is preferred. Knowledge of using the Raiser Edge system is a plus.
- Outdoor and weekend work is required
