Marketing Intern (6 Months Internship)

WHY TATCHA

Acquired by Unilever in 2019, TATCHA is a rapidly growing luxury beauty company with a focus on e-commerce excellence combined with a global retail presence at select stores. The company was founded in 2009 by Victoria Tsai to share a highly evolved approach to skincare based on classical Japanese ingredients and rituals that are clinically proven and naturally clean. In a uniquely vertical approach, we formulate our products at our very own TATCHA Institute, a Tokyo-based R&D center led by some of the most seasoned chemists in the beauty industry.

This position will have the opportunity to join a global company and drive the growing Chinese Consumer Market for the brand.

WHAT WE NEED

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Marketing Intern to join our our regional team based in Hong Kong. As part of the regional marketing team, you will be an integral part of a small, high-performing marketing team while stretching to work on other channels as needed.

Each day at TATCHA is different with new problems to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is an idea of some of the things you will work on:

• Engage in market research, analysis, and monitor marketing best practices and competitor initiatives
• Formulate high-quality novel written and visual content for digital campaigns
• Translate & localize marketing collaterals from HQ and craft Press Release
• Liaise with third parties (PR, Social Media & creative agency) to support the execution for new product launches and marketing campaign
• Conduct reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and assist in analyzing marketing performance metrics
• Perform ad hoc duties per request

WHO YOU ARE

• University students in your 2nd year or above, preferably in placement year who could work full time for 6 months
• You are ambitious, hungry to learn, creative and digital-savvy
• Students who study in Communication or Marketing would be an advantage
• Proficient in software such as Google Suite
• Proficient in design software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva)
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
