Environmental Health & Safety Officer (Registered EHS Officer)

Key Responsibilities

1. Enforce EHS policies, disciplines, programs and procedures to fulfill local statutory and company requirements
2. Prepare, maintain, and update EHS standard and manuals
3. Perform internal monthly safety audit and house keeping audit report.
4. Provide at least safety quarterly training to operation staff. 
5. Implement and monitor EHS program.
6. Assist the Management in providing safety advice to the operation team in the production of dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals
7. Carry out all port facility security duties
8. Conduct safety inspections, supervise and ensure plant safety.
9. Conduct periodic fire system inspection.
10. FS251 license renewal. 
11. Investigate accidents and come up with safety improvement actions
12. Promote health & safety culture throughout the company, perform safety trainings
13. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. Recognized Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees in Occupational Safety and Health
2. Registered Safety Officer with minimum 3 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a chemical plant. 
3. Familiar with Port Facility Security Plan is an advantage
4. Good leadership skill and management competence, a self-starter, and effective communication skill with all levels of staff and managements.
5. Ability to conduct on site safety training, inspection and manage safety documents
6. Self-motivated and has ability to work independently without supervision
7. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
