Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Public Health or Social Science or related disciplines; (ii) competency in computer applications such as SPSS, STATA, SAS and/or NVIVO; (iii) good organisational and communication skills; (iv) a good command of both English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese); and (v) strong initiatives and team spirit at work. Relevant research experience in quantitative data analysis using machine learning would be advantageous.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) research projects using qualitative and quantitative methodology; (b) recruitment of participants for interviews and focus groups; (c) data management and analysis; and (d) performing other research and administrative duties as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
