IT Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintain stability and security of trading systems and infrastructure, and drive for improvements and optimizations;
• Ensure all systems comply with HKEX & SFC regulatory requirements and meet international & domestic standards;
• Plan, lead, and oversee troubleshooting, systems backup and disaster recovery, provide expert support when necessary;
• Review IT structure, initiate and implement system enhancement and upgrade projects;
• Formulate, review, implement and update IT policies and procedures;
• Work closely with front line and back office support teams to ensure trade flow correctness and efficiency;
• Provide IT recommendation, direction and strategy to the Management team;
• Perform OS system administration including system setup and backup, software installation, patch upgrade and troubleshooting;
• Manage I.T. projects, study and analysis requirements, provide technical advice, implement new system changes and coordinate project activities;
• Maintenance and enhancing of company website;
• Support IT system documentation and IT operation flow improvement;
• Other ad-hoc project.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or equivalent;
• Minimum 8 years of solid IT operations experience in securities firm with at least 2 years in supervisory role;
• Strong experience in system implementation and maintenance;
• Experience in Macros and VBA;
• Good problem-solving skills and business acumen;
• Mature, analytical, and stable personality with good interpersonal skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
