Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing administrative support to the day-to-day operation of the Registry, including admission, course enrolment, student administration system and enquiry services.
- Performing efficient and accurate clerical and administrative duties including but not limited to applications handling, course enrolment processing, tuition fee collection and record keeping;
- Providing professional frontline student services including counter, emails and hotline service;
- Assisting in the implementation and enhancement of the student administration system;
- Providing support to supervisor(s) in coordination and liaison with internal and external parties;
- Assisting supervisor(s) in the preparation of meetings, reports, publications, and student events; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- At least 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 subjects with Level 2 or equivalent in HKDSE, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics;
- Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficient digital skills with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing);
- Capable of multi-tasking and attentive to details; and
- Be a good team player with strong sense of responsibility and motivation.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University.
