Experiential Learning Facilitator (Full-Time) (Ref: CCA/ELF/20240828_ct)

Responsibilities:

• Support with the design and delivery of all Experiential Learning activities and programs;
• Undertake the daily operation of Experiential Learning Activities as assigned by the Experiential Learning Management and implement projects assigned to them to successfully achieve the objectives of the department. Including but not limited to local and oversea excursions, school wide events and Outdoor Exploration Society;
• Follow the Four Pillars for the safety of student learning at ISF
  - Standard Operating Procedures
  - Risk Assessment Management
  - Levels of Competence
  - Experiential Learning Philosophy and Curriculum;
• Work with Experiential Learning Coordinators to ensure programs run smoothly;
• Participate in professional development and training as directed;
• Build relationships with ISF students, staff and parents;
• Manage and maintain experiential learning equipment and materials; and
• Any other reasonable task as requested by the Experiential Learning Management. 

Requirements:

• Degree in outdoor education or at least 3 years of experience in leading Experiential Learning, Outdoor Education and or Education to children;
• Knowledge and understanding of experiential learning and ensuring programs follow the Four Pillars for the safety of student learning at ISF;
• Certification in various outdoor pursuits including but not limited to high event activity, outdoor and wilderness activity and water sport activity are an advantage;
• Knowledge and understanding of Hong Kong Country parks is desirable;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and / or Putonghua;
• Good command of Microsoft office and Google docs; and
• Will be required to work over-time or during weekends depending on the needs of the students and the activities, competitions, events organized.
