Registered Social Worker 註冊社工(Ref: SCS)

Responsibilities：

• To conduct psychosocial assessments to identify the needs of service users
• To render counseling and make appropriate referral services for service users
• To provide related support services or referral services to users’ family members
• To collaborate with professionals in medical sectors, NGOs & government bodies for the welfare of users
• To conduct internal training related to case handling and psychosocial issues whenever required
• To supervise care call staff to enhance counseling skills
• To perform other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

• Registered social worker in Hong Kong, Diploma Holder or above of related disciplines
• 2 + years working experience in social welfare service, preferably in elderly or casework setting
• Experience in geriatrics, mental illness rehabilitation, case management & counseling service is an advantage
• Knowledgeable of social work practice and the services available in the community
• knowledgeable about community resources appropriate to the needs of users/caretakers
• Understanding of crisis management and the ability to deal with life-threatening situations including the prevention of suicide
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
• 5 Days work week
