Control & Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide expert knowledge in control and automation to support relevant research and project work

• Design equipment and respective parts and components based on the requirements of project team

• Prepare circuit drawings and documentation for the system

• Evaluate designs of equipment or system to ensure ease of maintenance and lower risk of failures.

• Assist in manufacturing and construction of the prototype based on the design for the system

• Development, integration, testing and documentation of the system design as part of a team

• Supports integration with software modules as part of a team

• Participate in the review and design of systems as part of a team in compliance with the users’ needs and requirements, good practices, and feedback from QA members

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering, automation or other relevant disciplines

• Knowledge in control & automation system is a must

• 2-3 years’ experience in the control & automation field is preferable

• Practical experience in the design of control & automation and IoT systems

• Familiarity with PLC programming and IoT devices

• Familiarity with installation and maintenance of control & automation system
