Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• You shall prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• We expect you to oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion of all related tasks.
• You will analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• You shall manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring prompt processing and resolution of discrepancies.
• We expect you to develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities aligned with organizational goals.
• You shall lead audits by liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• We expect you to mentor junior accounting staff by offering guidance, training opportunities, and feedback to foster professional growth.
• Assist in ad hoc projects and assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the Retail industry
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for more senior job title
• Good PC knowledge and skills, SAP is highly preferred
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Independent and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
