Merchandiser - Lighting

Light Tec Limited is part of the Briloner Group, the leading German consumer lighting import company.

To cope with our expanding business, we are looking for a suitable candidate to strengthen our Merchandising team.

Job duties:
- Contact and follow up with factories about ongoing orders and sourcing projects
- Liaise with German headquarters about ongoing orders and sourcing projects
- Monitor projects & take measures to keep tight deadlines
- Attend meetings with factories
- Arranging and consolidating shipments for product samples
- Discuss technical issues and product design improvements with the QA department
- Follow further tasks given by the Merchandising Manager
 

Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
- Experience in the lighting industry
- Experience with LED lighting products
- Experience in dealing with Chinese factories
- Experience in liaising with buying offices
- Experience with order processing in ERP systems 
- Language skills (in order of importance) - fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese
