Job Summary:
The Administration and IT Support Specialist will be responsible for managing office administration tasks, overseeing office setup, and providing IT support to ensure optimal performance of computer systems and networks. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
- Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Organize the office layout and order necessary stationery and equipment.
- Maintain office conditions, arrange repairs, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries from staff.
- Execute ad hoc tasks as needed to support various projects and operational needs.
IT Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software issues via phone, in-person, or remotely.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Conduct regular system updates and backups to safeguard data integrity.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the HR Manager based in Hong Kong to align administrative processes with organizational goals.
- Liaise with external IT vendors for equipment procurement and service agreements.
Office Setup:
- Assist in the setup of new office spaces, ensuring all equipment is operational before staff onboarding.
- Collaborate with management to design efficient workflows that enhance productivity within the office environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in office administration and IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common operating systems (Windows/Mac).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
- Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
