Assistant Institutional Advancement Manager I/II
Office of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs

We are looking for dynamic personnel that will bring his/her attributes to help the University reach another level of excellence. This position will report directly to the Institutional Advancement Manager and the job responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the management team to help initiate and formulate strategic plans for developing and enhancing our relations with new/current donors for the long-term benefits of the University
  • Prepare fundraising report to meet the requirements set by the donors and funders
  • Organise annual fundraising events and campaigns that meet the KPIs set by the management and committee
  • Prepare internal and external communications via social media, newsletters, regular correspondence, and events to increase meaningful engagement and involvement with our alumni, new/current donors
  • Produce effective analysis of the fundraising activities and work closely with the team to evaluate the donor database and help in formulating strategies and detailed plans in expanding and revitalising donor base
  • Provide support to Director of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs for donor cultivation and related activities, aimed at individuals, corporations, charitable foundations, and family offices
  • Provide marketing support to fundraising projects, committees and working groups and perform administrative work for onboarding

Requirements

  • A recognised degree holder in marketing/business or related disciplines with at least 6 years’ working experience, preferably in the field of education and advancement, including managing a portfolio of donors
  • A proven business sense and a strong desire to establish genuine relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills (in trilingual languages) that translate into compelling pitches, effective asks and meaningful reports to donors / stakeholders as per impact of donations / projects that reflect the mission, goals and values of the University
  • Capability to propose and embrace new ideas, and take ownership to translate into can-do plans
  • A track record of business project management to meet expected outcomes

Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
