Product Designer

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer with a passion for creating simple, intuitive, and delightful user experiences.

You must be skilled and experienced in the entire product design process end-to-end and have a passion for understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

You will help drive the design of Spacebox’s content, look and feel, brand, and user experience. In particular, you will

• Create world class user experiences in our customer facing app.
• Create simple and intuitive workflows for our internal apps.
• Create consistent, enticing, and on-brand content for our website. 
• Create simple and on-brand designs for static content such as invoices, emails, and ad campaigns.
• Identify new product improvement opportunities and feed those into the product roadmap.
• Reassess, modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer needs and evolving business direction. 
• Work with, and partner with, various stakeholders in the business. Including partnering with marketing, sales, product managers and engineers to define what needs to be built.
• Research competitor and peer products to ensure our user experience is up-to-date and best in class.
• Steer which design tools, technologies and processes we use by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques.

Desired Technical Skills

To be successful, you should demonstrate competence in the following areas:

• Requirements gathering.
• User research, user interviewing, and persona mapping.
• Customer empathy and understanding customer needs.
• Wireframing and lo-fi designs.
• Prototyping - ideally interactive prototyping. 
• Visual design.
• Human interaction design and usability testing.
• Mobile app UX and mobile UI elements.
• Data analysis
• Design tool usage, e.g. Figma or Sketch.
• Project Management skills - including familiarity with Agile processes.
• Project and team leadership.
• Presentation skills.
• Graphic design.
• Branding.
