Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates Architects Ltd invites applicants for the following post of resident site staff:

Resident Senior Building Services Engineer (RSBSE)

Minimum Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor in Building Services Engineering in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University or equivalent Engineering qualifications; and
2. have a minimum of 7 years’ post-chartered experience; and
3. Experience in Commercial building, laboratory building, data centre or super computing centre is an advantage.

Responsibilities: 

1. To ensure the Works is carried out in accordance with the design assumptions, specifications, contract requirements, and good engineering practice and co-ordinate amongst the RSS team and the Contractor's site team(s) with a view to ensure the safety matters are full compliance with the contract requirements.
2. Comment on the Contractor's method statements and risk assessments to ensure all potential and foreseeable hazards are effectively prevented/mitigated with proper site administrative and engineering control measures in place.
3. To assist in monitoring and reporting of the performance of the building services contractors, and to ensure the agreed work phasing and programmes are strictly adhered to and to prepare monthly progress and management reports.
4. To carry out any other duties as and when required by Client's representative or the Architect.

General Note:

• The tentative commencement date of employment will be in February 2025.
• The tentative employment period will be 24 months.
