Job Descriptions:
- To assist in handling renewal of insurance covers for the fleets and to keep an updated summary for the agreed terms during insurance renewal negotiations.
- To assist in preparing loss ratio statistics of the fleets, periodically review the claims record and update premium figures for insurance renewal purpose.
- To handle the administration of insurance contracts including the preparation of premium calculations, declarations under the insurance contracts and assist in handling of claims.
- To handle day-to-day insurance related matters, including updating Claims Registers and assist in handling review of insured values, etc.
- To assist in application of insurance related certificates for the fleet.
- To assist in preparing training material for internal training in relation to marine insurance.
- To perform additional duties to meet both the Company & Department’s needs as desired.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in maritime or shipping related background will be preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in Marine Insurance or Shipping Company.
- Good PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Chinese Processing.
- Excellent command in both written and spoken in English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
