PURCHASING MANAGER (3 days station in PRC)

We are an integrated electronics manufacturing services providers, HK based with factories in Guangdong and Vietnam.

We would like to invite high caliber individuals to fill the following vacancy.

Position : Purchasing Manager (3 days station in PRC)

Responsibilities :

• Working Location GuangDong, China
• Work for RFQ for new models/new project
• Handle full BOM quotation to marketing
• Develop new sources for OEM and ODM projects
• Identify cost saving opportunities and drive for cost saving
• Supplier consolidation
• Explore local sources for Vietnam Factory
• Travel to China factory in Dongguan and visit suppliers in China
• Assess supplier’s capability to match our quality and delivery requirement
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze trends in pricing and availability
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure best value for the organization
• Keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to procurement and sourcing
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality products

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Electronic or equivalent
• 10 years of experience in sourcing electronic / mechanical components in OEM / ODM projects.
• Experience in sourcing Sundry products for toy industry will be an asset.
• Capable to handle RFQ to marketing independently.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
