Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Account Manager with location in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. In this role, you will manage customer order process and manage customer relationships, identifies future growth potential for an assigned customer group.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Take ownership of the entire customer order process (order confirmation, follow-up, tracking and expediting).
  2. Manage a team of merchandisers to ensure that order execution, factories and suppliers execute the commitments. Monitor factory order fulfillment issues. 
  3. Lead weekly video calls between customer and supplier base to discuss open topics and resolve any communication or execution challenges. 
  4. Build/develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/factories, keeping factory base up-to-date and in line with company’s current and future Global strategies.
  5. Establish vendor strategies, product costing and negotiation /order placement, manage vendor relationships and production oversight to optimize performance.
  6. Be the key contact to internal departments such as Technical, Quality & Logistics.
  7. Explore sales opportunities and expand business thru cross selling.
  8. Able to understand, analyze and response to the Profit & Loss of business.
  9. Maximize business opportunities and meet the KPI, such as Net Sales, Margin, Sell-thru, P&L.
  10. Execute staffing, employee development/evaluation, coaching and other people management responsibilities, providing appropriate direction and environment needed for success and teamwork. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Competencies, Technical Skills and Knowledge
  1. Able to build strong relationships with the counterpart team and communicate effectively with internal and external parties;
  2. Proactive and market-oriented; good business sense, customer service and presentation skills;
  3. Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines;
  4. Good command of written and spoken English;
  5. Well-versed in MS Office. 
  • Education

Degree in Textile/Fashion Design/Apparel discipline or equivalent experience

  • Relevant Work Experience

10 years or above sales and merchandising experience in woven or knit products; 

Familiar with US or EU market
