Job Description

We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position(s) in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:

Assistant Academic Support Officer (N&HS) (Ref: 240029M)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Providing general support to the daily operations of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, such as programme operation, student administration and related teaching and learning activities, events and activities organised by the School;
  • Assisting academic staff in managing the academic programmes and students’ academic records;
  • Managing an effective filing system and School database;
  • Providing secretarial service to committees and meetings;
  • Providing customer/counter service and handling enquiries; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Nursing and Health Sciences or his/her nominee.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • At least 5 subjects with Level 2 or above in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages, Mathematics;
  • Preferably two years of relevant administrative experience in tertiary education sector;
  • Good command of English and Chinese (preferably in Putonghua as well); and
  • Good knowledge of computer skills.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
