Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Administering and coordinating the development of programmes and courses offered by the Department;
- Administering and liaising the accreditation process by the Physiotherapists Board;
- Liaising with partners of the Department;
- Handling administrative duties involved in research, learning and teaching activities, as well as student related matters;
- Providing secretarial service to committees and meetings;
- Assisting in the promotion of programmes and courses;
- Planning, coordinating various events and activities such as seminars and conferences;
- Coordinating the local/overseas clinical practicum of students; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree with at least 2 years’ of relevant post-qualification experience;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently; and
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
