Assistant Marketing Manager (Event Management)
The Assistant Marketing Manager (Event Management) is responsible for developing and carrying out fundraising events aligning with the organisation’s strategic directions. S/he will lead subordinates in executing fundraising events to engage the public and drive one-off and monthly donations.
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Devise, plan, and implement the organisation’s fundraising events such as Donate a Pencil for Girls/Run for Girls etc., to engage the public, drive one-off donations, and support onsite regular givers recruitment.
- Produce good quality marketing and communications materials for promoting the events effectively.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure the successful running of the events
- Prepare the event budget and monitor the income and expenditure prudently
- Prepare event evaluation reports to achieve continuous improvement
- Coach and guide the subordinates to carry out the work in a satisfactory manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Level of education
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in the area of Event Management, Public Relations, Business Management, Marketing, and Communications
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
- Experience in planning and organising effective events that meet the set targets
- Good knowledge in event management
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience with 2-3 years of supervisory experience
- Good written Chinese and English skills
- NGO-related experience is preferred
