Job description:
Summary
Lidl and Kaufland Asia are hiring an (Assistant) Merchandiser to join our merchandising power tools team, The successful candidate will be responsible for below tasks,
- Monitor the whole order process from end to end
- Negotiation with suppliers to achieve profit targets
- Supports Line Manager
What you'll do
- Contributes on the evaluation and monitor the factories for continuous improvement and business development
- Follow up on the sampling process
- Manage quotations, price analysis and price negotiations with supplier
- Supports the order allocation process from confirmation to shipment
- Monitors the end to end process and critical path management within the merchandising team and through day to day liaison with supply chain and supporting departments
What you'll need
- Tertiary level education
- Merchandising experience
- Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin, additional languages would be beneficial
- Proactively anticipate issues and provide problem solving wherever necessary.
- Problem solving skills, with the ability to seek advise when required
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel and Power Point)
- Fresh graduates with a relevant degree will also be considered as Assistant Merchandiser
