Job Overview:
The (Assistant) Retail Operations Manager plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive operational support to our retail teams and stores across Hong Kong and Macau. This position is focused on driving sales performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring effective execution of business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Driven
- Strategy Implementation: Translate retail strategies into actionable plans for store teams to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Operational Efficiency: Enhance operational processes to ensure effective implementation of business promotions and marketing programs.
- Sales Monitoring: Monitor daily sales performance, making necessary adjustments to meet targets as required.
Manpower Planning
- Workforce Development: Create workforce plans aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Staff Management: Oversee store rosters and holiday arrangements in accordance with the retail calendar.
- Training Coordination: Organize and facilitate staff training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Performance Measurement: Evaluate staff performance to ensure adequate staffing levels for optimal sales execution.
- Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory security and safety protocols.
Venue Management
- Seasonal Updates: Oversee the implementation of seasonal visual merchandising updates.
Back-End Support
- CRM Monitoring: Oversee the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program to enhance customer engagement.
- Packaging Oversight: Monitor packaging materials to ensure quality and compliance.
- Expense Management: Control expenses related to retail operations.
- IT Support: Address hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth IT operations.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with additional projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in store operations and retail management within the Fashion industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics and market conditions, including trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
