Job Description

Job Purpose

· Be responsible for ensuring that Company has a product portfolio strategy that aligns product investment with our overarching corporate strategy and accelerated growth plans.

Main Responsibilities

· Identifying and tracking key market trends and opportunities that can drive growth for Company product portfolio

· Providing objective, data-driven insight and analysis into key product and portfolio issues and opportunities, and acting on market information by translating customer data into clear and actionable plans for the Company products

· Delivering proposals to leadership based on analysis of market insight and product portfolio data, including scenario modeling and outcome projections, in order to shape product and investment decisions

· Working collaboratively with executive leadership, driving initiatives and analysis that are frequently outside of Business-As-Usual operations, and serves as a catalyst for moving the Company forward toward its medium and long-term goals

· Partnering with product development, sales and marketing, and technology leadership teams to resolve strategic issues and opportunities and to drive product strategies, ensuring a complete end-to-end connection with all stakeholders from product initiation through the end of product cycle

· Providing transparency into and analysis of Company product portfolio, including product-level investment, revenue, profitability, and efficacy data

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate in relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years in product management role
  • Understanding of key issues and trends in the education industry
  • Ability to lead development of strategic scenarios and understand financial analysis
  • Fluency in managing strategic and product-related issues in high-technology setting
  • Ability to frame business issues and communicate goals clearly to executives and cross-functional teams alike
  • Understanding of content, platforms and technology development in both a print and digital online environment
  • Proven record in managing educational products
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
