Project

ITC STEM Internship Scheme

Duties

  1. Oversee the administration and coordination of the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) STEM Internship Scheme, including but not limited to handling enquiries, maintaining financial records and statistics, preparing reports and arranging allowance disbursement;
  2. Coordinate and support other internship and scholarship programmes;
  3. Organise and participate in employers’ engagement events (such as career fairs, recruitment talks and other career-related events and initiatives);
  4. Actively connect with organisations and corporate employers for internship and graduate employment opportunities for students;
  5. Coach other junior team members on their project implementation/daily work; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee will be required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years' relevant working experience;
  2. Experience in organising recruitment talks, career/marketing events and/or internship/graduate recruitment programmes;
  3. Being a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  5. Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are required.
  6. Solid experience in internship and/or funding scheme administration; and
  7. Good knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance are preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
