Deputy Purchasing Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join VSL as Deputy Purchasing Manager in Hong Kong. 

As a Deputy Purchasing Manager, you will: 

• Manage purchase orders and compare cost effective options to plant department and project sites 
• Monitor daily purchases, report and analyze monthly
• Evaluate suppliers performance and identify important/critical alternatives  
• Implement new tools/ system to enhance purchasing process

Requirements:

• Degree in Purchasing or other related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferable with construction site purchasing
• Able to work remotely on Saturdays when needed
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and reporting
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
• Possess of valid driving license to visit different job sites
• Knowledge of tools and hardware
• Great communication and coordination skills
