The University now invites application for the following position:
Executive Officer – Department of Art and Design (Ref: EO (AAD) 2024-07-26)
Responsibilities:
- assist in planning and organising promotion activities, student events, admission exercises and managing student affairs matters;
- co-ordinate various programme-related activities, including seminars, workshops, and conferences;
- work closely with course instructors to support programme delivery;
- liaise with various internal and external parties to ensure the delivery of high-quality progarmme service;
- serve as secretary to committees and working groups; and
- provide administrative support to the Department and its programmes.
Applicants should:
- possess a recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience or knowledge, preferably in the field of Art and Design, Cultural and Creative Industries, or Cultural Heritage Management;
- be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing;
- have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- have a good interpersonal and communication skills; and
- be a fast learner, self-motivated, a good team player and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility.
Applicants with less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer / Executive Assistant.
