Job Description
Duties
- Provide administrative support to undergraduate (UG) admissions and contribute to its enhancements/developments;
- Assist in the review of admission operations and implementation of UG admission policies and regulations;
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of application systems, admission websites and departmental information systems;
- Prepare data and statistical report for UG admissions;
- Take part in the student recruitment activities;
- Liaise with academic/administrative units and external bodies; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ relevant administrative experience, preferably gained in tertiary institutions or sizeable organisations;
- Good knowledge of, preferably with relevant experience in, university undergraduate admission administration and operations as well as student recruitment activities;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good communication, interpersonal, leadership, analytical, organising, problem-solving, data analytics and IT skills; and
- Strong commitment, ability to work under pressure and capacity of embracing new changes.
Candidates with more than 7 years’ experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
