Duties
The appointee will support campus-wide quality assurance and learning and teaching initiatives. Duties will include:
- Coordinating and administering campus-wide quality assurance exercises (e.g, external benchmarking schemes, annual programme reporting exercise);
- Developing procedures and guidelines;
- Managing and coordinating academic-related functions and events;
- Administering funding schemes and overseeing the necessary reporting processes;
- Providing support to committees and working groups;
- Supporting internal/external academic quality audits;
- Assisting in outreach activities; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ administrative experience in relation to quality assurance and enhancement, and knowledge of system development and enhancement, preferably in the higher education sector. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); high level of self-motivation, analytical and critical thinking skills; creative and flexible approach to problem-solving; excellent data interpretation and report-writing skills; good presentation, organisational and communication skills; and the ability to work independently within tight deadlines are required.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
