Executive Officer I (Quality Assurance and Accreditation) in the College of Business [Ref. B/911/03]
Duties
Reporting to the Director of Administration, the appointee will have the following major responsibilities:
- Administer the quality assurance, department academic advisor scheme, and program review processes in support of the College’s core mission and education goals;
- Coordinate the external accreditation reviews (AACSB and EQUIS), and provide high-level advice and expertise in other accreditation-related matters;
- Serve as the main liaison to external accreditation agencies (AACSB and EFMD offices) and coordinator for the overall College-wide accreditation effort;
- Provide secretarial support to the Business College Board, College International Advisory Board and other college-level committees;
- Assist the Director (Administration) in overseeing the provision of administrative support in different areas relating to the College’s overall administration; and
- Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned.
The appointee may be required to work irregular hours and travel to mainland China and overseas countries.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics/Journalism/English/Translation or related disciplines, with at least 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, resourceful and dynamic;
- Ability to respond proactively to a rapidly changing environment with a positive and flexible attitude;
- Capable of working effectively under pressure and solving problems with tact and professionalism; and
- Knowledge and experience in accreditation and quality assurance matters are preferred.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
