Among all the Master’s programmes offered by the School, the MBA Programme in Finance (FMBA) stands out as a highly selective programme designed to attract highly motivated professionals in the financial and related business sectors. This part-time programme caters to the needs of working professionals in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the region who seek leadership development. To support the strategic development, the School is looking for a high-calibre and seasoned talent to join the Team of the FMBA Programme.
Reporting to the Administrative Director and/or his/her delegate, the appointee will be responsible for (a) serving as the primary point of contact for MBA students, including but not limited to course registration, attendance, class management, universities policies, and graduation requirements; (b) rendering a wide range of administrative support and organising student activities, including but not limited to overseas field trips, orientation, inauguration and graduation ceremonies, as well as other outreach programmes; (c) planning, implementing and executing high-quality co-curricular events and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as executive workshops and seminars, company/alumni talks, career-related events, company visits, with the aim of enriching students’ learning experience; (d) managing students and alumni associations, supporting and facilitating student-led or alumni-led activities, and other projects as assigned; (e) working closely with other team members to foster a cohesive working environment; and (f) performing other impromptu duties as assigned. Travelling to Mainland China and other locations for business purposes is required. Working at weekends based on operational needs will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification executive experience; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (v) excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; (vi) a strong sense of commitment, self-motivation, and the ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision; and (vii) a positive work attitude to achieve the team’s objective, maintain collaborative work relationship with supervisors and team members, and act with honesty and integrity. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
