With headquarters in the United States, Seaman has operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. We are looking for high-quality candidate to join our team in Hong Kong office.
As part of the Global Program Success team, this position will play an important role in supporting business growth and will interact with multiple stakeholders and report to Global Program Success Manager.
The duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work independently with Sales and Customer Service on new item development and item revision.
- Arrange and deliver qualified samples on a timely basis.
- Deploy approved items to global manufacturing units with required standards to ensure global consistency.
- Identify operational challenges and provided recommendations to mitigate them.
- Assist Global Program Success Manager in daily operation.
- Check and periodically clear the deactivate product in the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and complete assigned work plan objectives and projects on a timely basis.
- Organize and maintenance of sample storage and clearance.
- Co-ordinate administrative duties with other departments such as QC, Corporate Sustainability, etc.
- Provdie reports regularly or upon request and engage in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
COMPETENCIES:
- Good logical thinking and experience in handling data.
- Good communication skills, adaptability and self-motivation.
- Detail-oriented, can work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Strong execution, good sense of urgency and escalation.
- Team player with good communication skills and able to work with timeline.
- Skilled in using a variety of systems and software applications, including MS Word, Excel, and company-specific tools/software.
REQUIREMENTS:
- DSE or above.
- 1-3 years working experience in merchandising.
- Experience in garment industry is preferable, but not a must.
- Immediate availability preferred.
