Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for general hotel Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E), selected hotel regular maintenance, cleaning related and other out-sourcing services
  • Support Group Procurement Manager in procurement of goods & service through obtaining competitive quotes thru tenders from reliable and approved vendors
  • This assistant includes coordinating the whole procurement process starting from vendor selection, sourcing, price comparing, negotiating, coordinating approval, and arranging deliveries
  • Upon approval and supplier award, assist the manager on contract preparation
  • Negotiate the finest offer as appropriate with the best interest in mind for the company
  • Well coordination and follow-up with vendors and respective user departments
  • Maintain close rapport with users thru various means of communication mode
  • Assist in managing all relevant data related to non-food procurement information such as; documents for company’s P&P compliance, price list, product specification and samples
  • Liaise with relevant hotel user to ensure daily procurement operation on Purchase Requisite (PR) is process through timely
  • Assist in work coordination and other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting, Hotel / F&B management or other related disciplines is also be considered
  • Experience preferably gained from the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) while experience in hospitality, restaurant chains & catering (HORECA) industry are encourage to apply
  • Good communicators, customer service minded, and basic negotiation skills
  • Well-organized, independent, ability to multi task well, plan and prioritize well, and at times willing to work under pressure to meet important program / event timeline.
  • Willing to take up challenge, problem solving, business sense (good grasp of numbers)
  • High integrity with good principles and responsibilities
  • Proficient in MS Office applications is a must, other procurement ERP knowledge will be considered advantage.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Junior sales administrator, junior custom service representative from FMCG industry are encourage to apply
  • Fresh graduates whom like are sociable and like to meet people; willing to learn, work hard are welcome
