Job Description
The Head of Fundraising and Corporate Communications will play a critical role in driving the organization's mission by developing and implementing fundraising strategies and overseeing corporate communication efforts. This position requires a dynamic leader with a passion for social impact and a proven track record in fundraising, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
1) Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy and Execution

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial resources from diverse sources, including individuals, corporate donors, foundations, and events.

Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorship, and partnerships.

Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic organizations.

Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to achieve revenue targets.

Monitor and analyze fundraising performance, providing regular reports to the leadership team and board.
Corporate Communications

Craft and implement a corporate communications strategy to enhance Christian Action’s visibility, reputation.

Oversee the creation of compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, blogs, and the organization’s website.

Manage media relations, including preparing press materials, coordinating interviews, and responding to inquiries.

Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms and materials.

Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, representing its mission and values to external audiences.

Develop impactful marketing campaigns to promote Christian Action’s work and attract potential supporters.
2) Qualifications and Experience
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
-
At least 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, corporate communications, or a related field, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

Proven track record of securing significant funding from diverse sources.

Experience in managing teams and leading complex projects.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful communications campaigns.
Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Chinese), with strong storytelling abilities.

Proficiency in donor management systems and digital marketing tools.

Exceptional relationship-building and networking capabilities.

Knowledge of fundraising laws, ethics, and best practices.

Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
