Job Description

This position reports to and assists the Chief Executive Officer to deliver a wide range of fundraising and service development responsibilities, including:-

  • To explore resources to deliver quality new services and programmes in response to the ever-changing social needs, including preparing fund bidding proposals to the Government and funding schemes as well as engagement with foundations;

  • To devise fundraising and promotional strategies and goals, and oversee, lead and coordinate the implementation of fundraising and promotional activities to maximise the cost-effectiveness of those activities, including through social media and innovative means;

  • To implement and execute overall brand building and corporate communications strategy and strengthen the bonding within and outside the organisation, including the Government, NGOs, commercial sectors, academia and education institutes;

  • To identify new service needs to establish new self-financing service units for additional financial resources, ensuring that initiatives align with financial sustainability;

  • To assist the Chief Executive Officer in comprehensive planning of new service building to ensure floor plan accommodation and renovation, operational manuals, recruitment and staff deployment plans, service commencement plan be timely in place; and

  • To keep abreast of latest research and best practice with a vision to developing and pursuing evidence-based services with professional and therapeutic advices in new service development and service review.

Requirements

  • Registered social worker or allied health professionals (e.g. therapist) who have engaged in active clinical practice, fundraising, brand building, corporate development and service development with at least 10-years working experience at management position in social service agencies. 

  • Inspirational leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can manage complex projects and drive various service teams towards the same goal.

  • With outstanding spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Self-motivated, detail-minded, strong sense of responsibility and independent.

  • Candidates with therapeutic education background and relevant experience in developing rehabilitation and childcare services is highly preferred.
