LABORATORY FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN DESIGN LIMITED
Project Executive (Communication & Content) (Ref. No.: AiDLab/CSI/PEc&c)
[Appointment period: from the appointment start date until 31 May 2025. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project manager and the team to manage a large-scale multi-activities event that will take place in Hong Kong, China and the United Kingdom. The activities include fashion show, mentorship programme, exhibition, forum, pop-up retail. The event will focus on creative innovation based on Artificial Intelligence, Fashion and Design. The activities are targeted at the fashion, design and innovation industries, young fashion talents, academia and the general public.
The applicants are required to:
a) Support Project Manager to create promotion messages, editorial articles for campaign launches, website update and external communication channel;
b) Support Assistant Manager for content management & copy writing;
c) Assist Project Manager or teammates to execute communication strategy;
d) Execute regular eDMs / eNews, etc;
e) Communicate with supporting members, vendors, partners, schools, etc;
f) Manage events, include all activities;
g) Manage mentorship program, incl. call for program, selections, liaise with mentors & mentees, etc;
h) Co-work & monitor public relationship agency & design agency, etc;
i) Manage hospitality for guest-of-honour, partners & VIP guests, etc; and
j) Perform administrative & ad hoc assignments as required
Qualifications
For the Project Executive post, applicants should:
a) Bachelor’s degree holder who is a highly motivated and versatile individual;
b) At least 2 years' work experience in content /journalism /PR /marketing;
c) Good verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese (including Putonghua);
d) Strictly adhere to project timeline and deadlines;
e) Willing to take up certain degree of secretarial and administrative duties;
f) Be proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing; and
g) Sensibility to design, trends and technology will be a clear advantage. Experience with international and local design related and academic events will be a clear advantage.
