Job Description

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Collect and collate data/statistics/human resources (HR) information for analysis and reporting by supervisors;
  • monitor and upkeep proper records for the updated labour related policies on a regular basis;
  • deliver professional HR support services to users including liaison with the responsible officers, gathering and compilation of information and resolution of users’ requests raised in the staff recruitment/appointment process;
  • provide support and guidance to clerical staff as well as coordinate the related staff team to accomplish the assigned tasks/projects;
  • render administrative support of the respective unit and manage the filing system to upkeep proper record; and
  • assist in general office duties as well as handle ad hoc projects.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • (a) Higher Diploma/Associate degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources Management; or
    (b) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent plus at least 5 years’ clerical experience;
  • preferably experience in operating Human Resources Information System and handling office administration;
  • knowledge of word-processing and data analysis; and
  • proficient in both Chinese and English language.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
