Merchandising Coordinator (Outdoor & Sports)

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for managing various lifestyle outdoor & sports brands (e.g. The North Face, Salomon, Montbell) in multi-categories
• Formulate buying strategies, develop OTB plans and product mix allocation to optimize sales plan and gross margin
• Deploy effective merchandise ordering, replenishment and inventory control to achieve GP target
• Allocate goods accurately to different stores based on demand and store profile
• Monitor sales and sell-through situation and responsible for mark-down/mark-up in seasonal sale periods
• Negotiate with the suppliers about the product selections and buying discount rate
• Identify and exploit the potential products and brands to boost sales
• Coordinate and manage consignment counters
• Work closely with the Operation and Marketing team

Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing/Merchandising or related disciplines
• At least 1 year's buying experience in retail industry
• Strong numerical sense with analytical mind
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Good command in English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Buyer
