Merchandising Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Manage a team of Merchandisers

• Handle daily operations of the offices
• Liaise with different departments (Purchasing, Shipping, etc)
• Ensure products are made to specification and quality compliance
• Fully responsible for product development and merchandising activities
• Supervise sourcing, designing, selecting and identifying suitable  products to fit customer's needs and requirements
• Assist in ad hoc project when necessary
• Provide technical advice/support on products to the customers and factories
• Experiences in packaging artwork development coordination will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Safety and Legal compliance in USA and Europe

Job Requirements:

• Degree holders with min. 10 years Toys merchandising experience with at least 5 years managerial experience trading firm;
• Good sourcing knowledge & familiar with standard of safely requirements in toys industry;
• Fluency in spoken or written English and Mandarin is a must;
• Excellent skills in communication, presentation and negotiation;
• Strong problem solving skills, initiative, aggressive and willing to take challenges;
• Strong leadership skills, target oriented and able to work under pressure;
• Self-motivated, analytical, tactful with excellent problem solving skills;
• Able to multi-task and work in tight time frames;
• Mature and result target driven;
• Maintaining an ethical standard;
• Occasional Business Trips to Overseas/China are required
